First descent into the Vallée des Encombres, then ascent to Cime Noire, (elevation gain about 700m).
There are two ways to go down, depending on snow conditions:
- By the same route as the ascent
Through a wild, timeless valley.

The day before
  • Contact with the instructor to get to know each other and prepare the outing
Morning
  • Meeting at 09:00 am at ESF chalet
  • As safety is an absolute priority, we will brief you before departure to prepare your itinerary: snow conditions, weather, etc.
  • Handing over of your safety equipment by your instructor.
  • Departure for the first descent into the Encombres valley.
  • Ascent to Cimes Noire with around 700m of ascent.
  • Descent depending on snow conditions: via the same route as the ascent or via a wild, timeless valley.
  • Return to departure point
The success of this outing will depend on the weather. If weather conditions require adjustments or the suspension of this program, we will let you know the day before.

A splendid itinerary !
The breathtaking panorama between Courchevel and Méribel from the crests of the Petite Saulire to the Aiguille du Fruit was breathtaking. The hike up offered new sensations and the off-piste descent was thrilling. Many thanks to the team for their professionalism and attention to safety. I highly recommend this experience to all ski enthusiasts in search of adrenalin and breathtaking scenery.
