Vallée des Avals from Chanrossa: climbing skins mandatory.
A nice initiation hike with several possible options:
- 250m ascent to Col des Saulces
- 350 m ascent to Combe des Roches
Depending on snow conditions. For the more experienced: possibility of descending to Pralognan la Vanoise (full-day outing with return by bus at Brides Les Bains or Courchevel).
Also from Chanrossa: a nice initiation hike to the Merlets lakes or the Col de Chanrossa. Elevation gain depends on snow conditions. Easy skiing, great wilderness atmosphere.

The day before

Contact with the instructor to get to know each other and prepare the outing

Morning

Meeting at 09:00 am at ESF chalet
As safety is an absolute priority, we will brief you before departure to prepare your itinerary: snow conditions, weather, etc.
Climbing skins mandatory
Whole day
Advanced off-piste skiers only

The success of this outing will depend on the weather. If weather conditions require adjustments or the suspension of this program, we will let you know the day before.
