Born in Villarlurin, Alain was lucky enough to discover the joys of skiing at the age of four, right in the heart of his village. With other children, they spent all their winter days in the snow. These happy memories helped him develop a lifelong passion for skiing.

As a mountain enthusiast, freedom and untouched spaces, Alain is also a great defender of nature. Preserving the mountains is a value close to his heart. As for his lessons, he continually tries to adapt to the desires and objectives of each individual, always in a spirit of good humour.

The Vallée des Allues and the ski resort of Méribel allow him to make a living from his passion for skiing, in a natural environment that he is particularly fond of. The Cherferie sector and the Plan de l'Homme are among his favourite ones. From the refuge du Christ to the downhill run of Combe Cure, Alain has more than one favourite spot in mind. Aside from skiing, he divides his time between hiking, mountain biking, beekeeping and reading.
