It is with the precious help of his parents that Gil started skiing when he was only 3 years old. He then quickly developed a passion for this discipline and had the opportunity to discover Méribel in springtime ski touring from the Maurienne valley. In 1975, thanks to the support of his family, he became a ski instructor in Quebec. Over the years, Gil also taught in Switzerland and Italy before joining the esf of Méribel. For him, the esf represents confidence, technique and above all sharing. Gil's lessons are adapted to the skiers and the situation.

Gil has a great passion for nature and practises all kinds of snow sports. Finally, in Méribel, his favourite piste is the red piste of the Combe du Vallon.
