Originally from Brides les Bains, Valérie discovered her passion for skiing with her family when she was three years old. A sports teacher by training and coming from a family very attached to skiing, it was obvious for her to start as an instructor in Méribel. Her pedagogy is mainly based on the observation of the pupil according to the difficulties. It is important to propose adapted exercises and to focus on the pleasure of learning. For her, esf represents tradition, diversity of skills and is above all an essential institution. Her best memories are of having taught the same students for more than 20 years.

Off the slopes, she works in the restaurant business. Valérie is passionate about sports and enjoys ski touring, mountain walking, tennis, swimming and cycling. 

In Méribel, her favourite slope is the Blaireau!
